Tracing a full-circle journey from sculpture to fine art, I translate the physical rhythm of my environment into a deeper expression of the borders we inhabit. My practice explores the poetic wonderment of life’s "un" moments—the unleashing and unravelling—testing the tension between restraint and the sudden release of catapulting forward. Whether through house portraiture or abstract mark-making, my work is a life lived in creative response, celebrating the energy of being released into new potential.
"Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, and having fun." -- Mary Lou Cook
